Growth Lab · Opportunity workshop

Find what is worth building.

In one focused week, an open business question becomes an initiative your team can act on, with a business case, an MVP scope and a budgetary estimate.

01The week

One week, with 2 sessions of 3 hours.

DayFocusOutput
Day 1Agree the brief and review the information you shareAn agreed challenge and inputs for both sessions
Day 2A 3-hour session to define the problem and develop ideasA problem definition and a shortlist of opportunities
Day 3A 3-hour session to choose a priority and shape the concept and MVPOne priority initiative, with what is in and out of scope
Days 4–5Write up the findings, prepare the estimate and present the resultsThe decision pack and a recommended next step

Sessions run remotely or in person. The calendar is illustrative; we set the dates with you.

02Outcomes

An idea with a business case.

  • A shared problem definition

The challenge is written down and agreed: who it affects, the constraints and what a better outcome would look like.

  • Ideas grounded in evidence

Ideas start from how things work today, and the assumptions behind each one are named and challenged.

  • One clear priority

Each idea is weighed on value, evidence, feasibility and fit with your strategy, and one is chosen to take forward.

  • A concrete concept

The chosen idea becomes a concept: how it would work, what a first version would offer and what it assumes.

  • A business case

Expected impact, success measures, costs and uncertainties are set out for an investment decision.

  • A plan for delivery

An MVP scope, a high-level roadmap, a technology direction and a budgetary estimate show what building it would take.

03What to bring

A real problem and the people who own it.

  1. 01

    A real business problem

Pick one open question your business needs answered, and say what outcome you want.

  2. 02

    A sponsor and stakeholders

Bring a sponsor and around 4 to 6 stakeholders who know the problem from different sides.

  3. 03

    The information you have

Share the process, customer or performance information you already have.

04Decision pack

What the decision pack contains.

  • Opportunity and business case

The business case names the problem, who or what it affects, the evidence and the assumptions behind the expected impact.

  • Concept and MVP scope

The concept sets out the approach, the essential capabilities, dependencies, what is out of scope and the smallest first version worth building.

  • Roadmap and estimate

The roadmap gives high-level phases, technology options, open feasibility questions, a budgetary estimate and the next step we recommend.

The budgetary estimate is a planning input, not a quotation. Building what the week recommends is optional and agreed separately: with us through AI Studio, your own team or a partner.
