02The format
What the weekend asks of you.
- 01
Team up
Form a team of exactly 2 students of engineering, mathematics, computer science, data or design. Your teammate can be from another department or university.
- 02
Build it
Use AI assistants and coding tools if you like. Explain your contribution, test what you build and be ready to show how it works.
- 03
Show it
Focus on one useful flow. In a live demo, show the jury the problem, what you built and the evidence behind your decisions.
03Challenge themes
Three themes, with briefs to follow.
- LiftCRM and LiftInsight
Make business grow
Help a business win more sales or serve its customers better.
- Radar
Make teams work better
Help a team coordinate, see its workload clearly or make better decisions.
- AI Studio
Build something useful
Use AI to solve one specific, everyday problem in an application people can use.
Themes preview the direction; exact briefs, sample data and submission rules come later. Growth Lab sets the opening frame: understand the problem, challenge your assumptions, choose what is worth building.
04The 48 hours
From brief to live demo.
Find the problem
00–06 h
The challenge is revealed. Plan as a team and build a first prototype.
Make it work
06–24 h
Build the core flow and talk your approach through with mentors.
Midpoint check
24 h
Take stock of what works and what needs your focus next.
Make it better
24–44 h
Test, refine and prepare a clear demonstration.
Demo and judging
44–48 h
Final submission, live demos, judging and the winner announcement.
The flow is proposed and may change. The 48 hours are the event window, not a call to skip sleep: the final programme will include breaks and time to rest.
05Judging
Proof over polish.
| Criterion | Weight |
|---|---|
| Working project | 35% |
| Fit to the problem | 25% |
| Technical approach and validation | 20% |
| User experience | 10% |
| Live demo | 10% |
This scoring is proposed for the first edition. The final criteria and the jury will be published before applications open.
06Prize
The prize is still being defined.
The first-edition prize is being defined and will be announced before team applications open. A cash prize, a trophy and mentoring are being explored; none of them is confirmed.
Your project stays yours. Any later work with Orveon would be agreed separately.
07Questions
Before you team up.
Who can take part?
University students of engineering, mathematics, computer science, data and design. The full eligibility rules will be published with the first edition, before applications open.
Do we apply as a team?
Yes, as a team of exactly 2. For now, you can ask for updates on your own, without a confirmed teammate.
When and where is it?
It runs from Friday 18:00 to Sunday 18:00, 26–28 February 2027, Istanbul time (UTC+3). The venue and format will be announced before team applications open.
Are applications open?
Not yet. This page only collects requests for updates. Fees (if any), capacity, selection rules and the full terms will be published before applications open.
Can we use AI tools?
Yes. Be open about the tools and third-party components you use, and be ready to explain and test what you built. Detailed rules come with the challenge briefs.
08Updates
Hear first when applications open.
The venue, the prize and team applications are still to be announced; we will write to you when they are.
