One method, from an open question to software in production.
Growth Lab decides what is worth building. AI Studio designs, builds and releases it. Every step ends in something your team reviews before the next one starts.
01The method
Two phases, eight steps.
Decide first, then deliver. You can start at either phase: with an open question, or with a brief you already trust.
Phase 1. Decide, with Growth Lab, in one week.
| Step | What we do | What you receive |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Frame | Agree the brief and review the information you share | An agreed challenge |
| 2. Explore | A 3-hour session to define the problem and develop ideas | A problem definition and a shortlist of opportunities |
| 3. Choose | A 3-hour session to choose one priority and shape its concept and first version | One priority initiative, with what is in and out of scope |
| 4. Make the case | Write up the business case, the roadmap and a budgetary estimate | The decision pack and a recommended next step |
Phase 2. Deliver, with AI Studio, planned with you for each project. What we release first is the smallest version that works in production, and each release builds on it.
| Step | What we do | What you receive |
|---|---|---|
| 5. Scope | Confirm requirements, constraints and how success will be measured | Scope and acceptance criteria |
| 6. Design | Shape the experience, the architecture and how it connects to your systems | Design, architecture and delivery plan |
| 7. Build and validate | Develop in small increments and test them against the agreed quality targets | Working software, milestone demos and test evidence |
| 8. Release | Put the smallest working version into production, document it and hand over what your team needs to run it | The smallest working version in production, with its release package and handover |
02Decision points
Nothing moves on without your sign-off.
Three points in the method are decisions, and they are yours.
- 01
Build it, or not
After the decision pack, you choose whether to build, and with whom: with us, with your own team or with a partner.
- 02
What done means
Before the build starts, you approve the scope and the acceptance criteria the release will be checked against.
- 03
Accept the release
Acceptance is checked against the scope you approved, with test evidence and your own user acceptance tests.
03Principles
What holds in every engagement.
Production is part of the brief
Data and access, human oversight, quality targets, deployment, monitoring, usage costs and support are agreed before the build, not after it.
One accountable lead
Orveon owns scope, architecture, planning, communication and quality. Specialists from Orveon or a partner join where the work needs them.
You own the priorities
You bring the domain knowledge and access, set the priorities and review every milestone.
People approve what AI does
Agents and automated workflows act within limits you set, and the decisions that matter go to a person for approval.
04The services
Two services, one team.
AI Studio
Custom AI and software
Agents, AI-native applications and integrations, built with you from scope to release.

05Where to start
Start where your question is.
With an open question
You have a problem but not yet the answer. Growth Lab is a standalone week with a fixed fee, confirmed after scoping; its estimate is a planning input, not a quotation.
With a clear brief or a tender
You know what to build. AI Studio puts a technical and commercial proposal around your requirements, dates and evaluation criteria.
06Questions
Questions about working with us.
How does an engagement with Orveon start?
With a briefing. Tell us what you need to decide or build, and we suggest where to start: a Growth Lab for an open question, or AI Studio for a clear brief or a tender.
Do we have to start with a Growth Lab?
No. If you already know what to build, start with AI Studio. Growth Lab is a standalone week, and building what it recommends is optional and agreed separately.
What do we receive at each step?
Every step ends in something your team reviews: the decision pack, the scope and acceptance criteria, the design and delivery plan, working software with milestone demos and test evidence, and the release package.
Who leads the work?
Orveon owns scope, architecture, planning, communication and quality. Specialists from Orveon or a partner join where the work needs them, and you set the priorities and accept what is delivered.
What do you release first?
The smallest version that works in production. Each release after it builds on what your team already uses.
Bring us the problem.
Tell us what you need to decide or build, and we will suggest where in the method to start.
