Graduate talent pool
Forward Deployed AI Engineer, Graduate
A talent pool for new graduates who want to turn a customer's business problem into working AI inside the systems they already run. When a project creates a role that fits you, we get in touch.
01About the role
A talent pool, not a vacancy.
Orveon is building a pool of graduate candidates for future AI and software projects. We are accepting profiles and planning introductory conversations before a project-backed role is confirmed. This is not an immediate vacancy or a guaranteed offer.
Forward deployed engineers work with a customer's team, on that customer's problem and systems, rather than on a product backlog alone. The industry uses the title for engineers who take software or AI from a working prototype to a result inside a customer's business; at Orveon that is the work of AI Studio projects.
Hiring depends on a confirmed project and on fit. The work is remote; the start date, employment terms and pay are discussed when a specific role opens. There is no need to pause your other applications.
02The work
What you could work on in a future project.
Work with the customer
Sit in on the customer's work (remotely), understand how their team decides and what their systems hold, and agree what good looks like.
Map the problem
Break a business problem down into a clear workflow, with its inputs and the outputs it should produce.
Design and refine prompts
Write prompts for large language models, with examples and clear constraints, and improve them as you test.
Build small AI tools
Build AI-assisted applications, automations and integrations with code and APIs.
Check what AI produces
Test AI answers and generated code: find the errors, compare approaches and record what improves the result.
Connect and deploy
Help connect prototypes to existing software and deploy them to a suitable cloud service.
Explain your decisions
Explain your approach, document your decisions and work feedback into the next version.
03Who should apply
Foundations, not years of experience.
A recent degree
A recent graduate (for example from Istanbul Technical University, İTÜ), ideally in Mathematics Engineering or Computer Engineering.
Working English
Good enough to read technical documentation, write clear notes and talk through your approach.
Basic programming
You can read and adapt a small piece of code in at least one language.
How software fits together
A basic grasp of how an application, an API and a database work together. You do not need to be an expert in all of them.
A habit of checking
Interest in generative AI, and the habit of checking an answer instead of assuming it is right.
Willingness to learn
You pick up unfamiliar tools, ask useful questions and see a small task through.
No professional experience or previous internship is required. Coursework and self-directed learning count.
04Helpful, not required
Useful extras, not a checklist.
A project you can explain
A course, graduation or hackathon project, or a personal experiment, and your own part in it.
Some code and APIs
Some Python or JavaScript/TypeScript, Git, JSON or HTTP APIs.
A deployment platform
You have tried Azure, AWS, Google Cloud or a similar platform.
AI and automation tools
You have used AI assistants, AI coding tools or workflow automation, and know where they fail.
Something to show
A GitHub repository, a short demo, a write-up or a portfolio. A public portfolio is optional.
You do not need to know every tool listed here, train your own model or have deployed to production.
05How it works
What happens after you apply.
01
Introduce yourself
Send your degree details, a CV if you have one, and a short note in English.
02
Talk it through
Selected applicants discuss a project or learning exercise with us in a short conversation in English.
03
Work a small example
We may work a short fictional problem together; AI tools are welcome if you explain what you checked.
04
Hear from us when it fits
When a confirmed project creates a suitable role, we contact the candidates who fit it.
Joining the pool is not a job offer. The exercise is always fictional, never unpaid client work.
06Apply
Join the graduate talent pool.
Tell us your university, department, graduation date and English level. Then describe one thing you built or learned, or how you would start a small AI automation.
